95 Degrees Website
The 95 Degrees Website, hosted at 95degrees.cafe, is a place for the server to advertise itself to new people who are seeking out Discord servers to join. The website hosts information about our brief history, all the major features and events, merch and a staff + regs list.
The website has gone through several iterations but the current one was custom-built by Saku.
2019 - V3 Website
A version of the website was created in 2019(?) by Nath. This version serves the same function as the modern site but it was created using Carrd.
The V3 site follows the branding design prior to the current one, with dark colours and the classic coffee cup logo.
An archived version of this website can be seen here.
2021 - V4 Website (Carrd version)
When the 95 Degrees branding was updated by Nath in March 2021, a new version of the website was created with the new branding elements. Like the previous iteration, it was built using Carrd.
This version was considerably more basic than the previous iteration or the current one, featuring a basic hero and quick key-points of the server.
The Carrd version of the website eventually became unused not long after being introduced.
2022 - V4 Website (Saku version)
In mid-2022, Saku was looking at the "95degrees.cafe" domain that the staff had recently gained access to using and thought it would be better to make use of it rather than leaving it just as a basic invite link, so he started looking into creating a brand new website for the server that could use the domain.
Development for the website started at the start of June 2022, after having a basic layout planned out. It was fully custom-built using Nuxt, though it later switched to using Astro.
Several iterations were made and reviewed with staff throughout June, with whole sections being overhauled such as the features section, that originally just had 4 small boxes and was quite basic looking.
The website was completed in time for the 95 Degrees Mashup 2022, where it was formally announced to the server in a special announcement segment. It went live shortly after the event finished.
